Appointment Policy
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available. A 'drop off' means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off' sometime between 7:30 and 9:00 in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, we will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.
For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We require that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.

Please be aware we do occasionally have cats in our lobby running free.
All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.
OSHA and Safety Policies
Due to the fact that we are a medical facility we have certain standards of operation to maintain. Please remain either in the lobby or in an exam room at all times. Pet owners are not permitted in certain areas of the hospital unaccompanied due to safety, health, and privacy reasons. Please do not leave your children unattended at any time. Also bear in mind that not all patients are happy to be here. Please refrain from petting animals that seemed distressed. Our staff is highly trained in how to handle animals should they become aggressive. Viscous animals are not welcomed at our facility. Also please remember we are located next to a daycare that experiences a high volume of traffic in the morning and evening hours. We remind our clients of this only so we can be respectful and careful in the presence of the children.
